Families in Clay County may visit our Food Pantry once each month during our Food Pantry hours. We do ask that you bring an ID so we can verify that you are a Clay County resident. Because our Food Pantry is staffed by volunteers, it will not be open on major holidays such as Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day.
Our Food Pantry is located on the southside of our main building.
In addition to the food pantry there are limited opportunities for additional help to
residents of Clay County with their energy bills. To qualify for energy assistance we will need you to call our office at (812) 448-8698 and make an appointment to come fill out a form. You must have a copy of your bill at the time of the appointment in order to be considered for help.
If for any reason we are unable to help you, we will give you other resources and contacts that might be able to help.
We can only assist each household with a bill one time per year.
